Easter 2020 is almost here and most universities, including the UEA, break up from 21st March- 19th April. If you’re looking for a distraction, we’ve listed some of the top things to do that won’t break the bank…
Easter Egg Painting
Where: UEA, bookable rooms 7 & 8
When: Thursday 02 April 4pm – 6pm
Cost: FREE!
Enjoy a lovely chilled session of egg painting. We’ve got a bunch of ceramic eggs, and we might have a few cheeky chocolate ones to enjoy while we get our bob ross on. Mature students, and children welcome to come along.

World Village Market
Where: Gentleman’s Walk, Norwich
When: April 6-9
Cost: FREE!
After last year’s event proved a great success, the world village market returns with a suitably Easter festival feel and feature a great range of food including crêpes, bread and French cheese. Also crafts, clothing and gifts from around the world. City Council culture and events manager Helen Selleck said: “The Easter fair and market adds to the vibrancy and mix of events, attractions and shopping opportunities the city already has to offer.”
2012 BAFTA Shorts
Where: The Curve, The Forum
When: April 6-7, 7.30pm-10pm

Norwich Film Festival presents two evenings of short films which have been nominated for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards.
Norwich Ghost Walks
Where: Adam and Eve, Bishopsgate
When: Tues/Thurs from April 3, 7.30pm
Cost: £6 (£4 cons)
The Man in Black and his ghostly team are back for another season of spreading terror around the streets of Norwich, seeking out the local afterlife. The spooky season kicks off on April 3. Until the end of June the walks will be held on Tuesday and Thursday starting at the Adam and Eve. All walks include the usual crowd of added spectres and ghouls waiting to scare the unwary.
